HP Desktop Deals

Brand new HP desktop computers are everywhere. If they are still a little more pricey than you would like, you should look for some of the last generation HP desktops. Most of my computer deals revolve around the P4 CPU. A P4 processors is capable of performing any function a normal user needs quickly, and it's also very inexpensive. The older computers, with P4 processors, typically sell for around $100. This is a great price point for anyone who wants a computer for normal tasks.
These computers would be great for students, grandmothers, or anyone else. As I've stated in many other places on this site (a point that I like to reiterate), my minimum recommendation for RAM is 2GB. This will give a P4 plenty of working memory. Please read my article under "tips" entitled "Memory and Storage" for more information on memory (RAM).
Many of these computer do not meet my minimum requirement for RAM. They are still great computer deals. You'll just need to upgrade the RAM. This is an easy process that a grandmother could do. Google will help you locate the correct RAM. Replacing the RAM is a very simple task. I will be posting a howto on RAM replacement in the near future.
